Atlanta Braves Eddie Rosario Mlb National League Championship Series World Series

Eddie Rosario's heroics lead Braves to World Series

Atlanta's unlikely hero delivers once again

In the waning moments of Atlanta's 4-2 victory in Game 6 of the NL Championship Series, it was obvious that Rosario would be the hero. The Braves' outfielder had already hit a two-run homer in the first inning, and he came up to bat in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded and two outs. With a mighty swing, Rosario sent a 3-1 fastball over the left-field wall, giving the Braves a 4-2 lead and sending them to the World Series.

Rosario's heroics have been a constant for the Braves this postseason

Rosario has been a key contributor to the Braves' success all postseason long. In the NLDS, he hit a game-winning home run in Game 3 against the Milwaukee Brewers. In the NLCS, he hit .364 with two homers and six RBIs. Rosario's hot bat has been a major reason why the Braves have advanced to the World Series for the first time since 1999.

The Braves will open the World Series at home on Tuesday night against the Houston Astros. Rosario is expected to be in the lineup, and he will be looking to continue his hot hitting and help the Braves win their first World Series title since 1995.
